Speech-Language & Audiology Canada

About SAC

We are a membership-driven organization that supports, promotes and elevates the professions of our members and associates. We are the only national organization passionately supporting and representing speech-language pathologists, audiologists and communication health assistants inclusively. Through this support, we champion the needs of people with communication disorders.

Our members and associates are why we exist. When you’re an SAC member or associate, you can focus on your work knowing that we are supporting and representing you, every day.

Please note that SAC staff are currently working remotely, while we are checking voicemail the best way to contact staff would be via email. Please see our staff directory for contact information.

Ottawa is built on unceded Algonquin Anishnaabeg territory. The peoples of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg Nation have lived on this territory for millennia. Their culture and presence have nurtured and continue to nurture this land. The City of Ottawa honours the peoples and land of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg Nation.

SAC offices are located in downtown Ottawa, Canada, they occupy the unceded traditional land of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg people. SAC respectfully recognizes the following:

● This land on which we work, gather and live, is the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg people.
